Anger Management for TeensDo teenagers really feel angry all of the time?Somehow they looks like they feel angry all the time, with the rebellious attitude, outrageous fashion sense and the urge to try as many new things they feel interested in as they can, as soon as possible. Adult always paint the picture of teenagers as the stage where someone is growing rapidly, often lost in finding their purpose in life and ended up feeling angry and frustrated, for nothing in particular. If teenagers are as lost as what have been pictured by adults, perhaps it is time for adults to take an active participation in the anger management for teens. Why
do teenagers
get angry? What are the causes
of anger? However, most of the time, these activities frustrate them more, and anger become something that is necessary to be managed. This is where adults step in. For someone who has gone through it before, adults should know how to guide them out of the loneliness, and the feeling of being lost in the crowd. Invite them to do activities with you. The reactions may vary, but at least one or two would be interested in joining. How
do adults help in managing anger in teenager? Therefore, it
is best that anger among teens is tackled by confronting it. Talk to
them, do
things with them, make them let it go and work things out from there
together.
Once they feel that they can do something without feeling angry, there
is no
need for them to feel it anymore. But for them to feel this way, they
would
need guidance from someone. Who better than adults? Anger management for teens will not work if they themselves do not see the reason to manage it in the first place. More often than not, society let teenagers go with whatever actions that they take, giving out an excuse that those teenagers are at a difficult stage in life. The reality is life in itself is hard
at all
stage of life. If adults should manage their anger, so should
teenagers.
However, since adults have gone through that stage in their lives, it
is their
responsibilities to make sure that teenagers after them do not end up
angry and
frustrated like how they used to be back then. Therefore, when teenages are having trouble coping with something new, it is the responsibilities of the elders to guide them through it. Anger management for teens is possible, if it is done hand in hand with adults. |
